Steak & Ale Pie Project

The boss helped judge the British Pie Awards, 2018. Inspired by the "Steak & Any" category he's been assigned to - we decided to launch this special pie project where we create our version of the classic British pub fare.

This particular type of pie is found in virtually every pub in the UK - so perhaps we'll find new customers here in USA by creating this British classic.

Our version draws upon the collaborative style of brewers across the USA. We approach brewers - and put their beer in our pie. When the beer is gone, we move to the next brewer who is interested in working with us.*

For legal reasons, these pies are only available at our cafe or from our food truck. We can't offer them at wholesale (yet) nor can we ship them.

*A Message to beer makers

While we're working mostly with local NYC brewers - we're open to working with any beer maker that wants to put their beer in a pie. Drop us a line if you're interested in working with us - you supply the beer, we'll return the favor by giving you a huge box of pies, to do with as you wish.
